This issue of the CASNP Bulletin is dedicated to the concerns, efforts and achievements of Native women and also draws attention to those speaking out against discrimination. The articles examine a number of topics: Indian Women and the Law, Indian Rights for Indian Women, Roseau River Women in Action, a Native Women’s Co-op, Native Children, Fishing Rights for Inuit Women, the Native Women’s Association of Canada, Quebec Native Women, Pauline Johnson, Anna Mae Aquash, and the Hartt Commission on Northern Development. It also contains a list of books about and by Native women, as well as poetry, book reviews, tributes, historical pieces, and photographs. A directory of Native Women’s Associations and Presidents is included.
