This NAC paper extensively reviews the situation of women in Canada in 1993. This includes all aspects of women and work including child care, training, language training, access to education, and employment equity. It also reviews federal government policies and financing in the areas of employment insurance, poverty, taxation, women’s groups, abortion access, health, violence against women, refugee women, and media representation.
