The article by Shelagh Luka in the OSSTF magazine Forum provides an overview of the barriers to equality still facing women teachers in the workplace and in the Federation. She calls on the Federation to take concrete, effective action to assure women members that it is indeed their Federation, saying a strong first step would be establishing a provincial women’s committee charged with addressing these issues.
