The 1985/86 Annual Report of the Pauktuutit Inuit Women’s Association is both Inuktitut and English. It includes the President’s message, the aims and objectives of IWA, members of the Board of Directors, a report on the second Annual General Meeting, regional reports, a summary of resolutions, and financial summary. Discussion at the AGM covered Inuit youth, drug and alcohol abuse, family violence, dental health and nutrition, training and employment, and the Canadian Constitution.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
