This study examines the inadequacies and inaccessibility of social and health care services to immigrant women. It argues that immigrant women’s concerns and circumstances are dismissed as being a product of the individual and her culture, while ignoring the structural issues underlying these women’s health issues.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
