Last year, Rise Up supporters made it possible to hire staff and add nearly 1000 new archival items that significantly expanded the diversity of Canadian feminist activism represented in our collection.

We are reaching out to you once more with a special fundraising request to help Rise Up hire staff again this summer and to keep up the pace of building our online archive.  Their work will also support completion of the major project now underway to update and redevelop the Rise Up website so it is more comprehensive, accessible, and inclusive.

Rise Up is asking for your help to raise $10,000 so we can achieve our goals! Your donation of $100, $200, $500  – or whatever you can afford – will be much appreciated. You can also set up monthly donations.

It’s a lot. But we are very excited to tell you that the Zita and Mark Bernstein Family Foundation has generously offered up to $5,000 to match donations made before July 20th. This means your contribution will double in value and we can reach our fundraising target more quickly!
