The 1986 Feminist Periodicals Conference was hosted in Orangeville, Ontario from May 10-12. It followed the successful conference held in Montreal in June 1985. Representatives from various feminist publications attended the conference in order to network, attend workshops related to the development of their periodicals, and strategize for the future of feminist publishing. This program lists the conference workshops and presenters, including “The Value of Work,” “Practical Aspects of Staying in Touch with our Communities,” “The Politics of Design,” “Conditions of Poverty,” and “Strategies for Accessibility.”
