The explosion of feminist energy from the late 1960s to the 1990s created a renaissance of fresh ideas, intense activism, new political questions, original theories, innovative ways of organizing, and emerging alliances. A key goal of the Rise Up! archive is to make this legacy accessible to new generations of students and researchers, both to strengthen the historical record and to foster and encourage the feminist energy of the present.
