The Ontario Federation of Labour submission to the Royal Commission highlights the changing role of women in society and the growing numbers of women in the workforce. It calls for maternity leave provisions; changes to abortion, birth control, and divorce laws; equal pay laws and increased minimum wage; childcare; education and retraining measures; and ending tax discrimination against women.
