This booklet was published by the Ontario Federation of Labour with the support of many affiliated unions. It provides an overview of women workers and their struggle for equality in Canada from 1900-2000. The role played by the labour movement and the unions representing women in the workplace is also underlined. Original works of art of were commissioned to represent each decade.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
