The CLC Submission focuses its comments and recommendations primarily to issues related to women in the workforce. The document addresses the increasing number of working women and issues of equal pay, discrimination in employment, maternity leave and childcare. While advocating for progressive steps in these areas, the brief also reflects traditional views about women’s role in the family.
