The flyer calls on women in Toronto to show their support for the Fleck women strikers by joining the Women’s Solidarity Day on the picket line on May 19, 1978. There is also a solidarity meeting on May 25th. Key organizers were Organized Working Women and the International Women’s Day Committee. The events were also endorsed by the New Democratic Party Women’s Committee, United Auto Workers, Ontario Federation of Labour, and the Labour Council of Metropolitan Toronto.
