1986 Press Release announcing the release of the Report of the Katie Cooke Task Force on Child Care. The press release signals aspects of the content including the crisis situation of child care in Canada and making sweeping changes to the current system culminating in a universal system of quality child care. Also attached to the Press Release are the 53 recommendations of the Task Force.
