Pat Schulz, a longtime social justice and daycare activist, died of cancer in December 1983. In this article for Mudpie, Chris Judge reminisces with Ev McKee, Eli Kirzner, Julie Mathien, and Sue Colley about Pat’s insight and leadership in the fight for childcare and equality. The section also includes an article “On Being Reasonable” written by Pat in which she looks at the problem of asking for less than you need – that is, being “reasonable”.
