In honour of the United Nations Decade of Development (1975-1985) the Congress of Canadian Women prepared this Bill of Rights for Women. The pamphlet identifies five rights that should be a priority for activists and legislators: the Right to Equality, the Right to Motherhood, the Right to Economic Security, the Right to Individual Development, and the Right to Peace.
