This 1975 League for Socialist Action (LSA) pamphlet published by Pathfinder Press provides an overview of the early history of the women’s liberation movement in Canada. Topics include working women, abortion and the Morgentaler case, childcare, the tactics of the government to manage and limit women’s organizing, and the May 10 march for women’s rights in Toronto. The articles in the pamphlet originally appeared in Labor Challenge, a revolutionary socialist bi-weekly. A further reading list is included at the end of the pamphlet.
