This submission to the 1973 convention of the League for Socialist Action/Ligue Socialiste Ouvrière (LSA/LSO) challenges the Political Committee’s document on women’s liberation. It argues that the PC document is inadequate because it does not provide an accurate and factual assessment of the LSA/LSO experiences since the last convention, does not prepare members for intervention in any areas of women’s liberation other than abortion, and does not provide a balanced assessment of abortion as an issue or of single-issue mass-action coalitions as an organizational form. It argues for developing a programme on other issues of women’s liberation, including day care and union struggles.
