The 1985 Feminist Periodicals Conference was hosted in Montreal from June 14-16, it followed similar conferences in 1974, 1975, and 1980. Representatives from 35 feminist publications attended the conference in order to network, attend workshops related to the development of their periodicals, and strategize for the future of feminist publishing. This document was sent as a follow-up to participants after the conference. Much of the document lays out strategies for networking while the rest outlines a discussion on the merits of lobbying and the drawbacks of joining the Canadian Periodical Publishers Association. The document ends with notes on planning the 1986 conference.
