This booklet prepared by the Participatory Research Group focuses on the role that women from underdeveloped countries play in the microtechnology revolution. The booklet details the growth of microtechnology and how cheaper consumer costs have been made possible by an exploitation of labour as well as a disregard for worker rights by corporations operating in the global South. In the final section, the booklet outlines resources and strategies for change, including stories of women who have successfully organized for better working conditions.
