The Black Women’s Collective was one of 35 women’s groups and progressive organizations belonging to the Women’s Coalition Against Racism and Police Violence. This statement was made after the police shooting of Sophia Cook, another in a series that also included Lester Donaldson and Wade Lawson. It highlights the anger of the black community and their determination in the fight to end to racism and police violence.
