This undated pamphlet lists several common misunderstandings about abortion and offers possible responses. Topics such as sexual health and education as well as the tactics of anti-abortion groups are addressed in an effort to demystify abortion. It was published by Childbirth by Choice, a separate arm set up within the Canadian Abortion Rights Action League (CARAL) / L’Association canadienne pour le droits à l’avortement (ACDA) to deal with education and research.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
