The 1988 “Shocking Pink Paper” was produced by the Canadian Advisory Council on the Status of Women/Conseil consultatif canadien de la situation de la femme. The bilingual pamphlet provides facts on issues of women’s equality and questions to raise with candidates in the federal election. Topics include women in politics, reproductive health, free trade, tax reform, childcare, the wage gap, double discrimination, and violence.
