The 1993 Shocking Pink Paper encourages women to find out where the candidates in the federal election stand on issues of women’s equality and to get commitments for action. The pamphlet, produced in both English and French, looks at concerns such as violence, child care, politics, housing, health and employment, and wage equity.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
