This is a Memo from Ontario Board Members Larry Katz and Julie Mathien to all Ontario members. It reports on the activities of the Board, and specifically, the Ontario Board Members over the previous 6 months. Activities included working on the paper False Solutions; touching base with the Prime Minister and members of the Special Committee on Child Care; meeting with Premier Peterson’s staff; meeting with Jake Epp, the Minister of Health and Welfare; and working with Martha Friendly on the analysis of the results of the public hearings on the Special Parliamentary Committee, among other activities.
