The 1988 Annual General Meeting of the Toronto Chapter focused on the issues of racism and taking a preventative stance in education and child care. The meeting also heard from the Albert Johnson Committee about its work to protest the police killing of Albert Johnson and other instances of police racist brutality. The meeting was chaired by Akua Benjamin.
