“Just Like Me”, the anti-racist child care film project sponsored by the Toronto Chapter, arose from the realization that there was a dearth of training materials and resources for use in Early Childhood Education programs on the issues of racism, including its impact on the development of young children and strategies for addressing it.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
