Congress of Black Women of Canada Ontario Region Presidents Meeting (September 1992)

The minutes of the Ontario Region Presidents’ Meeting includes reports on the focus of activities of different chapters, including police violence and youth, the Stephen Lewis Report, the Kay Livingstone Luncheon, the anti-racist child care project video, youth leadership programs, a meeting with Marion Boyd, and building the Barsha Kelly Cari Co-op. It was noted that the Congress and several other organizations had withdrawn from the Canadian Panel on Violence Against Women because of the lack of representation of disabled and racial minority women.
