This 1991 report produced by the DisAbled Women’s Network -Toronto examines sexual assault against women with disabilities. Despite the extremely high incidence, discussion of this topic is largely non-existent, including within women’s and disability groups. The report itself addresses issues such as causes and effects, stereotypes about disabled women, the police and legal system, and sexuality and sex education.
