Question sheets on women’s issues were developed for the 1980 federal election campaign by the National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC) and the Canadian Advisory Council on the Status of Women (CACSW). The 1980 materials, as well as additional questions prepared by NAC Committees, were part of a package circulated for input on positions for the upcoming federal election.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
