This undated New Feminist statement calls for support for the Abortion Cavalcade that took place in Ottawa on May 9th and 10th 1970. It also calls for the repeal of the abortion law in the Criminal Code of Canada. As well, this statement discusses a Private Member’s Bill to include sex in the Ontario Human Rights Code and announces a rally at Queen’s Park to gather support for this proposed Bill.
