The Nova Scotia Task Force on the Status of Women was created by the Province of Nova Scotia in April 1975 to report on which particular recommendations of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women could be implemented in the province. The task force was also mandated to broadly report on the status of women in Nova Scotia, and to make recommendations to improve conditions. The Task Force’s report “Herself/Elle-Même” was published in March 1976.
