This 1977 submission by the Cape Breton Working Committee on the Status of Women outlines proposals for implementing recommendations in the report by the Nova Scotia Task Force on the Status of Women. It suggests a number of legislative priorities involving little cost that could be acted on immediately, as well as other priorities that are budget-related or involve intra-governmental non-legislative action. The proposal also supports the concept of a separate Department for Women.
