In 1985, the OSSTF Status of Women Committee re-surveyed the Federation membership to determine whether there had been changes in women’s employment status and in attitudes about women seeking positions of added responsibility. The study also explored attitudes towards students and other issues such as pension eligibility and willingness to use workplace childcare. This document contained the detailed findings on questions such as demographics, attitudes, the promotion process, career commitment, and family responsibilities. It is a follow up to an earlier report done in 1976 by the Task Force on the Status of Women.
