This 1989 pamphlet by Second Story Press announced the formation of the new feminist publishing house. It describes the editorial board for Second Story as well as the goals of the press. It accompanied a fundraising letter circulated to potential supporters.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
