This is a pamphlet for the LIBERATION WORKSHOP, a series of weekly courses for women conducted by the Women’s Place between October 2 and November 24. Topics include women in high schools, sex-role stereotyping in children, viewpoints on the women’s movement, carpentry, psychology, women in Canadian literature, women in Canadian society, and fix-it instructions. A series of Friday speakers and discussion topics is also provided.
Rise Up! believes that learning about social movements from original historical materials is an important public good. We believe that these materials should be accessible to the public for research or education and, of course, for discussion and review.
