Lesbians Against Racism


This button coincided with a conference in 1992 called Making the Links: Anti-Racism and Feminism which was organized by the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women (CRIAW). “Lesbians Against Racism” was a reflection of a growing anti-racist consciousness among white lesbian feminists and a recognition of intersectionality of struggles against sexism, homophobia and racism.
