In October 1974, this working class beer-hall, and social setting for frat brats and engineers, was turned on its head when four lesbian feminists took to the Open Mike Night and sang their own rendition of Rogers and Hammerstein’s “I Enjoy Being a Girl” titled “I Enjoy Being A Dyke” – just to make things clear to the boys.
