This issue of Our Times includes a report on the 1990 Canadian Labour Congress Women’s Conference “Women, Protest and Power”. Conference speakers included Audrey McLaughlin, leader of the New Democratic Party, and Judy Rebick, president of the National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC). The report includes views on the role and place of men at the conference and in the struggle for women’s equality.
