Union Woman was the newspaper of Organized Working Women (OWW). The only union woman’s newspaper in Canada, it was published regularly from 1977 until 1988. The pages of Union Woman chronicle the activities of OWW, the issues of concern to union women during that period, and strikes and events happening in Ontario and across the country. It is one of the best windows into that time period regarding women and the labour movement in Canada.
