Recording of Dykes on Mykes in 1991 hosted by Deborah Vanslet, with guests Trace Sitter, and call-ins from listeners. They discuss Trace Sitter’s music and being an out lesbian singer/songwriter, and coming out stories. 

Gay Day was an annual 24 hour broadcast event held by CKUT Radio (which hosted the Dykes on Mykes broadcast), from 1989 to 1991. The broadcasting event was held to honour LGBTQ+ and AIDS activist Joe Rose, who was murdered in a homophobic hate-motivated attack in Montreal’s Gay Village in 1989.
