Material Type

To assist with navigation, archival materials are categorized under Issues, Events, Organizations, and Material Type. 

All archival materials in the Rise Up collection are categorized by type of material and are available in this section. Current types of materials are as follows: Periodicals, Photos, Buttons, Posters, Films, Audio, Documents, and Ephemera.

Individual archival items are also tagged with every Issue, Event, and Organization to which they are substantially related and can be accessed through these sections as well. Click on a particular Issue, Event, or Organization to see related archival materials, grouped by material type.
