This 1991 white button with the slogan “A Woman’s Place Is In Her Union” in blue text curving around the outside was created to support women as members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).  It features a 3D image of a gear in the centre. The text in the middle of the gear reads “I A of M”. Within the curve of the gear are the words, “International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers”.
