No Cuts, Just Bucks – Black Women for Wages for Housework

This 1977 Wages for Housework button supports the campaign to stop cutbacks to the SEEK (Search for Education, Elevation and Knowledge) programme at the City of New York University. SEEK provided financial support to Third-World students, and especially women. The campaign also targeted efforts by social services to cut women off welfare supports.
