Please don’t shop at Eaton’s

A 1985 button with the slogan, “Please don’t shop at Eaton’s” created by the  Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). This button shows solidarity with the workers, mostly women, on strike against Eaton’s. The workers were striking against poor working conditions, lack of job security, and lack of pensions. The strike took place from November 1984 until May 1985.
