This 1986 rectangular button features hot pink text that reads, “Judy! Vote for Judy Darcy”. A longtime activist, this is one of many buttons used in Darcy’s runs for leadership office in the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) during the 1980s. In 1991, Darcy was elected National President of CUPE, an office she held until 2003.
