Toronto Proposal to Sponsor Anti-Racist Child Care Project (1988) This document addresses a proposal for the Toronto Chapter of the Congress of Black Women of Canada (CBWC) to sponsor the development of a multi-media presentation on anti-racism and childcare. The presentation, which responded to a lack of information about racism and its impact on young children, as well as a need for strategies to address these issues, became an important focus of the Chapter’s work in 1988.
