Report on Access to Abortion Services in Ontario This report was compiled by the Task Group of Abortion Services Providers following concerns about the government’s slow progress toward improving abortion access in Ontario. The report’s primary goal is to identify the key barriers that perpetuate unequal access to abortion services in Ontario, and to develop strategies to overcome them. The report particularly focuses on how abortion access is influenced by language, class, race, disability, age, and location. The report makes a series of recommendations on how the Government of Ontario can support women’s equal access to abortion services and build a more comprehensive health care system.
