The Status of Day Care in the Ottawa-Carleton Region

This 1979 fact sheet on the Ottawa-Carleton Region Day Cares was sponsored by the Ottawa-Carleton Day Care Association, the United Day Care and Parents Association, and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Locals 2204 and 503. It includes information on day care waiting lists, costs, and lack of funding. The fact sheet also promotes a Rally for Fair Day Care outside City Hall at Green Island Park to call on politicians to “Play Fair with Day Care”.
