Equal Partners for Change: Women and Unions – Using Your Union

This 1979 information sheet by the Women’s Bureau of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) and the CLC Labour Education and Studies Centre provides information on how women should collaborate with unions in order to achieve equality in the workplace. It discusses how to use women’s committees/equal rights and opportunities committees within labour councils as well as union locals to organize effectively for equal pay and opportunity for women workers.
