Ethel LaValley & Fred Upshaw

This 1993 Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) election flyer supports Ethel LaValley and the late Fred Upshaw. Both were strong labour activists with Ontario Public Service Employees’ Union (OPSEU) and advocates for human rights and equity within the labour movement. Ethel LaValley, an Indigenous woman, served as OFL Secretary-Treasurer from 1995 – 2005.
